My newest OC, Yuuga Yomi. Done Amano style. Kind of...Damn, the colours here are stronger, but the real-life one is still way better.
He doesn't really have that much hair, but it is that long.
And he should look a bit manlier, but Amano's guys are too pretty not to emulate.
I SUCK at cloth folds. -_-
So for the whole 'super original character' bit, he's a king who is pretty much a tyrant. Yay.
Origins of name: Well I went onto a japanese-english translating site and got 'Yuuga' when I searched 'elegance'.
And Yomi, apparently, is the land of darkness and death in japanese mythology.
Please, I beg you, don't think along the lines of, "Oh my god an OC. I can't possibly say anything constructive seeing as I don't know this character."

Goodness a amano style work surely I love it. I would like to see you experiment with different line pigments though. Faded pigments alongside semifaded colour. Like this - [link]
Though he does use several dark tones throughout his work I would love to see you experiment more with light colours with your amano works.
Though don't get me wrong I adore the strength in this image. You really do get a feeling that beneath his lovely exterior he's bubbling with evil intent. :]

like the kimono and how he wear it. also the colors you couse are nice for the picture.
I saw also your OC on the Arte Meme ..there he have a bit nicer hair. maybe it is the difference with pen and pencil.. sometimes a pen is difficult gave structure and fine line details.

Yeah, in the meme he had straight hair, but now I'm not so sure I liked it as much. Also I probably have too many characters with straight hair, so now I guess he's breaking my mould. XD

I really like his outfit. And his pretty shiny hair. But mostly his outfit...the ink makes it look very silken.
The bit of pink on his shoulders and around his eyes is also a nice touch. <3
