I think we best let her teach the very basics. If Rainbow is too busy, at least Fluttershy is available. Twilight too.

She's a grown mare now, Fluttershy would normally start from just a meter off the ground, fly slowly and do anything to keep her safe.

I mean as in, well, young birds count too to help them fly, Scootaloo should also be trained just like those young birds who hasn't fly yet. It's all about the basics. RD can go extreme, remember how Twilight couldn't fly well at first?

You're right, she drew on the chalkboard for little birds how to fly, so she might be indeed able to help. Although there were lot of hoovering moments for Scootaloo in past 6 season so maybe it is just the strength thing.
RD will not be good teacher, Twilight probably read a book on how to fly than getting better from RD lessons

Strength is one thing, maybe flapping too fast is also not good? I'm not sure if lift don't work if flapping too fast, I saw some pegasus flap moderately. Scootaloo doesn't flap like a normal bird wing, she's more like hummingbird instead.

Hm, yes, when Twilight was learning to flight and flapped too hard she felt from skies... But that comparison to hummingbird is interesting, might be good idea for drawing

I think the hummingbird works well when really small, but when it's too big like Scoo, there's not enough air flow & all that flapping is making it very turbulent, hence don't provide enough lift except her wings but not the rest of the body. That's me attempting to think aerodynamics & aircraft science in general.

Come on, Scoots. Your scooter would be wayΒ faster.
