Fictinal ship for my original story: ROBOTWARs, designed by FRIEND711.

The year was 2021 when NASA's Artemis project was excecuted 3 years ahead of scedule, sending seven aastronautes that would be the first perminant settlers of the moon. This project, dispite it being ahead of it's schedule and with some military intervention, was a success and became a point of pride to the United.States government and it's people.
With so many hard times passed in such a short notice, this was one of the events which helped the speedy reunification of the populus and as a result made NASA's projects one of the top prioriteis in the nation.
within the year nearly 200 people settled on the small moon base they dicited to call "Grissom Towm" named after the Captian of Apollo-1. Within a few years, the number of moonmen increased and the united.states were no longer the only ones staying on the moon on a perminant bases.
The Europian.Union, Japan, Saudi Arabia and Russia had perminant settlements creating new states and provences when the year 2030 hit, the population on earth's satellite was over five hundred million.
The Satellite had independent countries and those countries did have a seat on the United.Nations however the Satellite realized that it's fractured stateus made it hard for it to push anything on policy or anything important, as a result they decided to create a federation which spoke for all regions on the satellite, which meant that states belonging to riviled counties such as the United.States and Russia were now under one flag, many counties risisted the idea, thinking that this would eventually lead to the states held on the moon to declar independence, but with many convincing and the fact that nations on earth would not agree on moon states having more seats on the United.Nations, on March 15th 2031, nearly 10 years since man settled on the moon, the Federation of Luna was declaired with it's Capital being the city of Grissom Towm.

Once the federation was declaired, it was realized that the federation needed a military and the first budgets were made in the creation of the Luna Army, Luna Orbital Defense Force (LODF) and the Luna Orbital Force(LOF)
The LODF were a land based force to protect Luna from outer orbit invation or attacks from the ground, using SAM missiles, SAC cannons and fighters meanwhile the LOF acted as the navy for the federation.
At first they simply purches ships from foreign countries but as the hight of the space race was heating up and with more countries making huge ships literally above the satellite, it was quickly realized that they needed to make a domestic design ship spicifically for the satellite's defenses.
Most spaceships were using huge Rail guns to fire at one another at long orbital distances, something not nessesarily needed for a satellite defense, mainly dueling it out in the open orbit. With this in mind and the fact that making a ship on the moon made it possible to produce a huge ship in a ceap manner, the First-Step Class Satellite defense ship was born.
Layed down on Chaffee Crater's Tampa-II shipyard on May 4th 2034, the ship had plently of fire power with its forword section holding sisteen quad turret 190mm short range railguns while also carrying four Anti-Multi-Target-Missile (AMTM) launch pods with twelve missiles each.
This ship design was an extream shock to the nations of earth, with its incredible size and armament and speed it was deemed at one point the most dangerous warcraft in high orbit, the simple number of guns it carried made it nearly immposible to evade without taking a hit and those missiles were using state of the art PrSM technology, it gave the Luna Federation an unfair advantage but a welcome one.
By 2038 as larger and heavily armed orbital ships were being made, nearly fifteen of these class of orbital ships were produced and stations on every corner of the satellite for it's protection.
