I have a question, do you believe that Lemuria is a "completely mine and original" thing?

...I don't know if this is a joke or not.
I guess it's a serious submission, however...
First of all, saying 'roper' means that you condemn all the OTHER ways of establishing characters, and other reference sheets.
Secondly, there are a lot of little things that really aren't necessary, like breasts (unless you are writing porno, which I do not wish anyone to do D
Thirdly and finally, you skipped the MOST IMPORTANT thing about any character, personality.
There is no character that looks unique- it's impossible. No matter what you conjure up - a hulking behemoth who is afraid of rats, a sexy vixen able to summon butterflies - it's been done before a million times.
What makes the character unique is their personality, which you've barely touched on.
Personality is a lot more than likes and dislikes or reactions to good and bad situations (that is very vague too- I could write an essay about my character's reactions to good situations, and not be able to find anything usable for the story)
It's about their past, present, future.
What kind of relationship did they have to their parents, what status did they have in a group of children (the bullied one, leader, protector, one of the mass..), how did they behave with their family, how did they behave with strangers.
What does the character presently believe in (not just deities, as in does the character believe that for example abortion is wrong, or that mass-murder is right in certain situations), what do they want to achieve in their life, what is preventing them from achieving it, why is it so important...
Also, just stating the weaknesses doesn't help.
I could do a character whose name is Christian, (with a flowing green hair the color of the forest, and golden eyes that sparkle like gold) he possesses the powers of the universe, but is irrationally afraid of rats.
Original, right? You'll remember him tomorrow, right?
You'll need to delve deeper: How does the character react to people in a poorer position than themselves? Better position? What they can't stand in another person? What is their most annoying traits? What is their worst fault? (like laziness, short temper, hastiness...) How do they appear to an outsider who doesn't know anything about them? An insider who likes them? An insider who dislikes them?

This is very interesting, Although, I don't quite agree with answering all those questions. About the world, yeah you should talk about it if that's your setting. but about the actual character, I think you would more cover the things that are abnormal about the character, only covering what is normal if you need some sort of comparison. :3 But I love the way you do this!! Very thorough

yes i believe it is always important to establish what is unique about the character, but i like to have a handy list of everything else that could can easily just skip along the way. It makes a huge reference, which is nice. Usually the uniqueness in the character will still come out of filling out something like this.

Yeah, the uniqueness will come out anytime you write about a character. Doing something like this would help out people who are trying to do fanart of the character. =3

I'm most definitely using this for my character, whom I thought I knew.
But now she will have depth! ^_^
