Description This is the first ring I made using PMC3 instead of ACS, and I must say that for me PMC is the superior product in terms of workability and durability.

The ring is a size 6 and has an impression from a real fern on the outside. The stone is a 4 mm iolite cabochon, which changes color from amethyst purple to golden yellow based on the angle of light. For this reason the gem is also called "Viking's Compass", as it will change color when facing the sun even on a cloudy day. The stone looks more brown than purple in the photos because of this property.

I gave it to a dear friend as a wedding present.

Following a conversation months ago I have been looking at silver clay to use as a medium. Sadly it looks far too expensive for me at the moment. What it did do is bring me back to your pages to have a look at some of the wonderful work that you have done. This one impresses me immensely. Looks simple but there is more to it than meets the eye.

Well hello again   I am sorry the silver clay didn't work out for you (it is an expensive medium and I almost didn't go into it because of that).  Thank you again for you nice comments on my work.  Sadly, I keep up with my art projects more on my blog than here on DA, but that being said, you are welcome to visit the blog: wishcraftstudio.wordpress.com/

I hope you are doing well!
