Hello everyone! Today we are finally going to meet another of the faction focus characters who are affiliated with House Blackfury. And in doing so, we shall skip from the retainers and scholars directly to the head of the house. Meet Magister Ilandar Blackfury himself!

As we have already mentioned, house Blackfury is a minor noble house with lands in Eversong forest. Lead by magister Ilandar Blackfury, a talented, albeit slightly eccentric researcher with knack for leadership, the house has been acting as a strong ally of the Brigade. With only three nobles bearing the name Blackfury alive - Ilandar himself, his young son Kae and daughter by the name of Nida, and nearly no material fortune, business or natural resource claims to boot, the house might seem like a minor player indeed, but appearances can be deceiving.

The magister is an senior mage with a keen mind and knack for experimentation. His affinity to and proficiency with portal magic is formidable, and his research in this field has raised more than one eyebrow. While he is commonly mistaken for a high elf, Ilandar Blackfury is a staunch supporter of strong Quel'Thalas and a sin'dorei through and through. The color of his eyes is a mystery even to himself, although when asked about this, he has speculated that the whole matter might be tied to a tragic accident during an experiment with a particularly ambitious portal spell that has gone very wrong. While he himself might not comment further, his subordinates would most likely remark that it was the day Ilandar lost his wife.

This accident though hasn't dulled his drive to explore and experiment with portals. On the contrary, it fueled his desire to know more to a level that borders with obsession. While absentminded at times, his family means everything to him and Nida and Kae are the only ones who can make Ilandar forget about magical formulas and teleportation theories.

I have painted Ilandar as a part of the faction focus for May - House Blackfury. While we might not be able to get third piece in the series this month(my workload was, and still is immense right now), I hope that the two that were uploaded have managed to introduce the house at least to some extent and that you enjoy this fine gentleman!

Magister Ilandar is busy maintaining the Brigade's portal gate and network along with several other specialists. He might not have time to take part in any of the summer activities, but his mate has convinced him to donate a Writ of Mercenary Service, opening up one slot for a house Blackfury guard (one character will be created on your behalf for the Mercenary Project), this prize requires a Truesilver Key to unlock(THIS PRIZE HAS BEEN CLAIMED). Magister Blackfury has donated a Golden key to the event(THIS KEY HAS BEEN CLAIMED), but has no Silver Keys, Arcanite Keys or Truesilver Keys. He might be persuaded to make further donations later.
