Hello everyone! I'd like to thank those of you who voted on Patreon for their favorite faction. The faction focus for March is House Vex. We've already met several members and officers/soldiers employed by the house, but there is plenty more to come. Today we are going to meet the middle of the three Vex sisters - countess Vivienne Vex.

Vivienne Vex is considerably younger than her sister Birgitte -

whom we've recently met, but much older than the last Vex sister we have yet to meet. This is all due to the fact that elven lifespan is extremely long for human standards. While Lash calls Vivienne 'Little one', there is nothing little about Vivienne. Where Lash chose to control her emotions and display calm and cold demeanor, indifferent towards anyone and anything (until she gets angry that is), Vivienne is filled to the brim with passion. While countess Lash might be the 'brain' behind the plans of House Vex, Vivienne could be called 'the hand'. When something needs to be done, she is there and tries her best to make sure that House Vex comes on top.

Vivienne's personality is the complete opposite of her sister's. She is passionate, wild and outspoken. She is always eager to get in action, be it combat or social happenings. This comes with an inherent flaw though, as she is prone to mood swings and easily provoked. While angry, she is not below proving her point through the use of an enchanted bullwhip she always carries by her side. This trait has earned her a fitting nickname of 'Whip', a name she wears proudly, as the bullwhip is an ancient Vex heirloom. When visiting 'Whip's' flaws, we should definitely note her love for parties and all kinds of earthly pleasures. Whip is demanding and self indulgent, craving large quantity and excellent quality of food, drinks and company - which is something her older sister finds infuriating, as Lash herself is nearly ascetic.

In battle, Vivienne opts to strike at her enemies from distance, using enchanted bows with arrows that are frequently laced in mild toxins. She is a fierce adversary, and her aim and knowledge of anatomy is a combination to be feared. Her ability to train and bind with wild beasts is a fairly strong asset, and her hunting party usually contains a cunning wolf by the name of 'Whimper' and a giant silithid wasp called 'Kheeraz'. Her charisma translates well into her leadership abilities, and Whip is very often seen leading house Vex task force, with troops following her eagerly and without hesitation.

I have worked on this piece in early winter of 2018, by the time I was experimenting with strong lighting and shadow conditions. I hope you like the final result . There will be more reveals of the lore behind the house through the month of March.
