Hello everyone! Today we are going to meet someone special - here comes what would constitute for the first Brigade 'mug shot'. Meet Lisaile Starweaver, former Sin'dorei magistrix who has sided with Magister Nightshard during the Nightshard rebellion against the forces of the Sunguard. At that time, The Brigade was already on good terms with the Sunguard, and thus joined their sworn allies in battle.

Lisaile’s troops have been defeated during a border skirmish in Outland. While her knowledge of magic and powers of elemental control were formidable, it did not help her prevail over the Brigade’s superior numbers. Beaten, bruised, bitter but her will unbroken, she was taken to the Brigade prison facility where she was interrogated.

Tried and sentenced to two years of imprisonment for her part in the rebellion, she was held in a deep cell within the very same facility. In the weeks following her capture, it became apparent that Lisaile was merely a patriot who firmly believed the ways of the Nightshard would aid her people. She has followed the course of the rebellion and became disillusioned with her former allies, after it came to light that the Nightshard rebellion was deeply entangled with demonic forces and criminal elements.

As the time went, she has befriended some of the wardens and showed herself to be a bright and honest woman with keen mind and magical talent. Two years have passed, and on the day of her release, Lisaile did not head back to Quel’Thalas, but asked to be taken to the Brigade headquarters instead. Some time after, she has joined The Brigade herself, hoping she could make amends for the damage she and her troops caused during the rebellion two years prior.

Lisaile is one of my most recent b/w portrait practice pieces. I have enjoyed working on her as her premise allowed me to add some details the more neutral portraits did not. I hope you enjoy the final result!

Lisaile will most likely be supporting some of the summer events using her powers of hydromancy to provide entertainment and some refreshing surprises. She wants to donate something special, but will do so at a later date. She has a couple of keys but none of them Golden Key, Silver Key or Copper Key.
