This is my entry for an competition promoted by the comic author Manunta.The aim was to draw the poster of a famous movie using Giunchiglia, his comic character…
I chose the movie Ladyhawke, they I liked very much when I was kid…
In this fantasy movie, two lovers are forever separated by an evil spell that transforms her in a hawk during the day, whereas, at night, when she returns human, her lover becomes a black wolf…

I love the way you've played with the white road and the white branches, coming out from the paper itself and then disappearing in the bottom part of the illustration when you cut them in squares. It leaves the observer with quite a 3d effect. Impressive! And Lady Hawke was one of my favourite films, too...

Ooh, this is gorgeous! I absolutely love it. The little details, like the soldiers leaving Aquila and the design on the dress, are really cool. It definitely captures the feel of Ladyhawke. I hope the competition went well!
