I absolutely love Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn series. So when we were assigned to do a movie poster in my Illustration class, I decided to do his first book!
Hope you like it.Critiques encouraged.

Hey, it's okay. I thought it was kinda cliche that Kelsier had blonde hair anyways.
Plus, I often imagine Marsh with black hair even when the text kept reminding me he was blonde, too.

Yeeeeaaaah, I always pictured Kelsier with black hair and then I drew the picture and then everyone was like "He's blond!" Whoops. I'll probably never fix it.

Vin looks a bit more plump than i imgined her to be in the first book (at least the first half of it). She doesn't look too malnurished, but she does look about as young as described in the book and about as temperametal.

You were totally right; the actual cover to this book is so laaaaaaaaaaaazy. I'm actually finishing the first book right now because of your cover illustration (mmm, the book is pretty OK), but if was you and your illustration that attracted me to the book in the first place

I like this a lot; I'm working my way through Well of Ascension right now and had forgotten how much I loved the series until I finally got back to it. But even without reading the books this movie poster would make me interested to see it!
