Hmm, X didn't go through too many changes like other characters. But I LOVE the Butterfly armor. It's cool, just like the other ones he uses.

Divided by Zero. Makes me wanna groan, but it surprisingly works. Yeah, I heard Zero was gonna be X, but they made Zero a different character 'cause Capcom thought he wouldn't be able to relate to the original Megaman. And... I think Zero was originally intended to be a girl. I don't know its credibility (I heard it on TV Tropes, and I don't recall at the top of my head seeing it anywhere else), though, but it makes sense with that hair... oh wait, I'm supposed to be talking about X. Right.
That Butterfly Armor thing looks pretty cool, even if the helmet looks weird (must be the ears... remind me of bat ears). I guess you didn't decide to include all his armor variations, right? Probably for the best, since your back and probably your wrist are screaming in pain right now.

Yeah...I feel kinda cheap for excluding them, but then, I said I wanted to leave out alternate armours whenever possible. And my back DID feel like it was going to break. DX

Fun fact: Zero was originally going to be X. Then they decided that gamers wouldn't identify him with Megaman, so they created today's X.
X doesn't have too many differences in most of his versions... though where are all his armors? *bricked*

I decided I wouldn't include alternate armours, only alternate interpretations. (Though that Butterly Armour was too awesome/strange to exclude) And I don't have references for most of them, anyway.

It seems that Capcom was quite pleased with X's design, he didn't go thru many changes. Just slight touchups.
I was about say say, "Where's rabid little will not die, iX?" Then I saw the end.
For that matter, where is Copy X? The wimp...Poor excuse for a final boss.
