armed with a 20mm rifled autocannon.I tried to make a weapon thatβs something in between of a handheld and mounted one, and Iβm pretty happy with the way it turned out.
note the spare cylindrical mags strapped to the thigh.

Yah... just had to add this one to my +favorites. Love the anatomy, tubes, coloring etc. The foot's perspective looks a bit off, but dosn't detract from the image.

That's awsome. You can tell that the shading is analogue and that's what's so cool about it! 
So do you do the shading and scan it in separately then?

I printed out a copy, did the shading on that one and then I scanned it and fitted it in photshop. for the highlights I traced the outline, did the spots with a pencil and inverted it in PS

Aw, cool. I've done that with the shading before, but I'd never have thought of scanning in the highlights and inverting them *has sudden urge to draw lots of shiny things* hehe

Looks like the rounds corkscrew in the cylinder canisters, and I love how the rifle is attatched to the forearm and the claw. For some reason, I could see a Ganadhje pacing across an aircraft carrier. Maybe with alternative anti-air weapons or extra sensory equipment. Anyways, very impressive coloring job for just a mouse; trust me I've had my time with one before I got my hands on a Intous3.

Yeah, Vandread's an anime.
It features Vanguards (humanoid mecha) Dreads (Fighters) and Vandreads (Hybird special combination Vanguard and dread).

That is impressive. Mechas with separate weapons are much better than arm-mounted weaponry. And that gun just looks sexy. Helical Magazines for the win!
