Edit: Spectra's application is going to be remade. I'm not going to change her species, rather make her shorter and change her patterns.

Personality
Spectra's personality changes as the day goes. In the morning when she wakes up, she is very independent and silent, she won't ask for help nor will help other aliens. At noon she is a lot more active and outgoing, along with being pretty hyper but caring at the same time, she still won't talk to other aliens unless another alien approaches her and starts a conversation. At noon she is most at peace, very calm and relaxed, she will often try to talk to friends or meet new friends at this time, if not she will just be roaming the ship or preparing dinner. At night, of course, she sleeps, but her species is half-nocturnal, so for the time she is awake she has this very adventurous kick in her, thus she explores. Sometimes this changes depending on what situation she's in.

Backstory
Spectra was born on her home planet, Uior, located at practically the edge of the universe. She, her family, and nearly her entire species were captured and sold as slaves. Spectra was sold months after she was captured, and became a slave for a harsh master. As a slave, her job was to make the food for her master and his family. After the perilous 10 years as a slave, Spectra was released, which is when she became a crew member on the ship she currently resides in.

Roleplay Example
The ship gave a sudden jolt, waking multiple extra-terrestrials and flinging many more from their seats. Spectra, a young female Atriax, didn't seem to care. She had been here far too long, she didn't flinch once as the ship rocked. The aliens around her fell asleep again, drowning the ship in silence once more. Spectra shut her eyes slowly, when will I ever get out of here? she thought as her eyes closed, plunging her into darkness.

Species Info
[Atriax are a closed species for now. I am still working out all the stuffs, but once I'm done with working out the stuffs, it'll be open .o. ]
There will be a species sheet on the Atriax soon, but some basic information for ya.
Atriax have skin that looks and is as soft as crested gecko skin (that's the only animal I can think of to compare their skin texture to). Although their skin seems perfectly equipped for swimming, in reality it is not. Atriax are far from aquatic. They are more equipped for climbing trees, or in this case, all over the interior of ships. Atriax are omnivorous creatures, they have molars in the backs of their mouths along with tiny canines in the front. Although, they would naturally prefer meat over fruits and veggies. The Atriax hands/feet have special pads on them that work as suction cups (like gecko feet), they need these on their home planet to climb trees or whatever else is there.

Atriax have claws, but they are small; their claws are slowly deteriorating as the species evolves, their claws now are just the remnant of their ancient ancestor's claws. Their claws aren't made for killing, but they cause a pretty painful scratch (it's like a really deep papercut). An Atriax bite won't hurt too bad, until it thrashes it's head around; which is when it will strip skin from muscle. The tiny teeth cannot actually get very far into muscle, so bites are pretty survivable (unless they are on the neck or somehow hit an artery), but they will sting. Although, Atriax are pretty hygienic, so the chance of getting an infection in a scratch or bite is low; but it is still advised to keep an eye on bites or scratches.

Atriax have huge eyes for seeing in the dark. On their home planet, they had to develop these large eyes through evolution so they could hunt sleeping prey, without worry of being caught by their predators. Over the years of evolution, Atriax have become a lot more civilized and gradually lost their nocturnal ability. Modern Atraix (like Spectra) are only half-nocturnal. They can see in the dark, and quite like the dark, but their nocturnal abilities now are nowhere near what they were a billion years ago.

Atriax cannot walk upright, all because of their height an general anatomy. If an Atriax was upright and started running, it wouldn't be very fast and would probably flop onto the ground. Atriax can walk on four legs, but they'd still be a bit wobbly. Normally they'd only be on fours when they're browsing shops or looking for something, anything that doesn't involve the rapid movement of limbs. On all six legs, Atriax can move pretty fast. An Atriax would almost always drop onto six legs when it is going anywhere. Of course, while on six legs they are probably only a few feet tall. Atriax do have the ability to walk upright, but they cannot run due to their long bodies. Their tails help them keep balance when walking around, so it is not uncommon to see an Atriax waving it's tail around whilist it walks.
