I don't feel like myself today
Trapped in a miracle I never asked for
In a life that goes on without a will to survive
I look around and I see the things I despise grow
I look at myself and I see who I never wanted to be
I look at my future and all I see is an imitation of life

This is an amazing. Your artwork never ceases to amaze me! It's always amazing, so I already have that...but I'm always in awe at the next piece of work that I see. I saw an article about your comment on a later piece about "you haven't seen Israel until the last Shalom"...or something like that, and I thought it was really amazing. Astonishing reflection shot, deepened even more by the poetry. I believe that feeling like an imitation is part of the human condition for those of us doomed (or blessed) to keep searching. It's a terribly uncomfortable feeling, but a vital one.

I recently read a book titled "The Lovely Bones" by Alice Sebold. Heaven is described as a place of your choosing, that changes as you want it to. Every person has a peaceful place that they can go where they can look upon people they left behind on Earth. Every once in a while, a person in Heaven, by accident, can appear for a moment to the people they love on Earth. This is what I thought of when I saw this picture, that you captured a brief moment where an Angel appears on Earth. I love this picture very much.

I always find myself confused by the angles of the shots you take, Gilad. I find myself wondering where the hell the shot is taken from not to show the camera or even cameraman, but then I realise it's upside down or sideways or round a corner or something and just give up trying to work it out. Anyway, I guess I'm saying, it's pretty neat. Lol.
