As the Thylacarnivorians dominated the forests of the continent, the Buckandee rules the savannas, the domain of the Bush Dragon are the rocky scrublands and grasslands. Bush Dragon's are usually around 9-10 feet long, but some individuals can grow up to 19 feet, their body type is balanced, while being lean, they are also very bulky.

On rare occasions Thylacarnivorians and the Buckandee confront Bush Dragons, while the mammals clearly have the upper hand, the Bush Dragon counters that with a bite that causes swelling, blood clotting, infections, and, surprisingly, extreme pain. They usually hiss and bloat themselves to give off a warning, and they also use their long tails as whips, which can cripple the leg of an attacker with one powerful blow.

They are active predators and are ambush predators, usually lying in wait with their dark olive backside that blends into grasses and shrubs, they prey on a wide variety of creatures such as small mammals, other reptiles, fish, birds, Humprunners, Brontocamelus calves, Undas and even their own kind. Small prey is killed by being shaken violently until they are either dismembered or knocked unconscious, and are swallowed whole with their large throat pouch. Larger prey get ambushed and are bit multiple times until they die of blood loss or infections.
