Marlee, the cripplingly shy, precocious, ABBA-obsessed harpy.I woke up feeling like I needed to paint. I went to painting class, and that helped a little. Then I had a lousy day, so I just needed something to help me unwind. And look - it's Marlee! I love her.
Mostly done during Glee. I wasn't missing much this week, anyway. Except for: "Oh my gosh, I open my mouth and a tiny purse falls out!"
2 1/2 - 3 hours, roughly.

I finally comment! What I love so much about this picture is that she looks like such a specific individual. I see a lot of beautifully rendered portraits but often the characters just kinda have generic stock idealized features. Marlee actually looks like someone you know here. I especially like the pouty mouf.
Plus, Marlee, I mean come on YAY. Her spooky dark-circly eyes are great.
