• HISTORY:

Ronald was born into an all Snorlax evolution family in Celadon City as a little Munchlax. His father is a part of a long line of specially trained Pokemon under the training of a lesser known traditional martial arts gym in the corners of Celadon (not to be confused with the Official Pokemon League Grass Gym of Celadon), owned by a human Pokemon trainer that has long since participated in the Pokemon Leagues. Ronald was supposed to be a part of these practices as well, however, unlike his father and his father’s father, Ronald wasn’t as active, and as a result spent his early childhood lounging about, eating a lot. He didn’t really care for fighting at first, and figured just lounging around was all that a man needed.

It wasn’t until his early-mid teens when he was stuck in the middle of a street fight filled with both Pokemon and humans. He didn’t know what to do. He wound up injured and what have you. His father had to come in, break the fight and kick them out and away from his son. It was then Ronald realized that he’s been a pathetic fool. He spent his teenaged years taking his training seriously under his human trainer and pokemon classmates, even evolving. However he knew it wasn’t enough: he was a mass of fat with speed that can rival a Shuckle.

Around this time, a new fighting association was developed alongside the already established Pokemon Leagues: The Celadon Kickboxing Association. It was a new “fighting league” where both Pokemon and humans can fight alike, even have humans and Pokemon fight each other – under certain stipulations and regulations, naturally. Ronald felt he should attempt fighting in this association and make a name for himself. He joined the association along with some of his fellow classmates and his trainer - under their own divisions, of course.

And he did make a name for himself, becoming the Champion of his weight class early on in the Association under his trainer’s supervision. But he failed to defend his title for very long, and he had since then been under a losing streak for many years. He had begun considering himself a failure and figured he was just lucky those first few matches and soon resigned from the Association as he was nearing his thirties. He since returned to his home at the training ground nearby the bicycle route and just sort of did what he did back when he was a child, lounge about, which worried his family, trainer, and partners alike. Sure he had been training more often, but it’s just more of something to do.

About a year or so after Ronald’s early retirement (around 32 years) his human trainer decided to go taking a vacation with his family and students (his Pokemon team, essentially), including Ronald. The final decision was a tour of Unova. Part of their Unova tour took them past Striaton City, where Professor Fennel works. Fennel and the Trainer happened to cross paths during this little trip, and discussed Pokemon in general. After some time she wondered if he’s willing to give her one of them, if anything for a short while regarding her research. He was reluctant, but Ronald sort of wanted to do SOMETHING, even if it meant just dreaming for research for the humans. Not to mention, if what he heard about this Dream World Experiment is correct, he can live the life he felt he never had, to be a somebody, one that can kick ass and take names, and people can appreciate him as a strong fighter and a good friend, and not be a fat slob that ate and got lucky in a couple of fights. He silently volunteered to join this experiment.

• PERSONALITY: Becoming a Lucario in the Dream World has given him the opportunity to live a new life, be someone… successful. He acts more confident in his abilities, and behaves more recklessly as well. He’ll be more sociable due to his dream façade. He tough, impulsive, and willing to put himself into harm’s way for the sake of doing things that he believed himself as a Snorlax could not. He’s come to dislike his waking world form, so he would like to stay away from associating himself to it as much as possible. He’ll get a tad twitchy if people question his Real Life form and will likely lie of his Waking World form as a result.

• EXTRAS:
- Due to muscle memory, he’s still fighting more like a Snorlax in dream, making large arching movements and grapples as opposed to utilizing the Lucario speed.
- Ronald dreamt himself as a Lucario because some of his trainer’s best students were Lucario’s dating back to his grandfather’s youth. He’d always admired their fighting prowess and so here he is.
- If there are going to be Waking World RPs, Ronald will likely keep his Snorlax and Lucario personas as separate as possible. He’d feel embarrassed revealing that he had been a big fat old failure of a Snorlax the whole time.
- His original Snorlax Moveset is as follows:
• Ability: Immunity - Unable to get poisoned
o Giga Impact (TM)
o Chip Away (Leveled)
o Façade (TM)
o Last Resort (Prior Evolution)
- He eats a lot. Period. If you offer him food, do make sure he doesn’t eat everything.
- He’s lighter than the average Snorlax, being roughly 900 pounds.
- As a Lucario, Ronald has two spikes hidden on his being he can wield as katar-like blades.
- He's pretty heavy for a Lucario, reaching nearly 200 lbs. This is mostly due to his human figure, steel typing, and muscle.
- Being new to his Lucario form, Ronald isn't very good at sensing Auras. Not yet anyway.
- Ronald loves music with fast beats, if he fights with an awesome tune playing he plays to the beat. That's actually what helped him win a few fights when he was a Snorlax.
