History:

Being killed off into being a Gastly, Shade doesn’t remember much of being alive. Not that it mattered much to her. She just ran off to be an awesome Ghost of Lavender Town. However scaring the same people over and over became boring, so she decided to explore the region of Kanto, and soon, the world of Pokemon. Her afterlife was pretty basic until she started bumping into traveling couples, be it runaways or otherwise, she grew interested in them.

She began recognizing patterns of human behavior, especially couples, and even wondered if she felt such silly yet interesting emotions when she was alive. Despite it all, however, she enjoyed having a good scare with them, and, over the years, she began to enjoy the notion of “shipping” couples together, whether logical or otherwise. It was amusing, mocking people and fake couples, it gave her a more sociable personality then stalker-like over the years she evolved into being a Haunter.

By that time, however, she found herself in Castelia. With the overabundance of people and cliques going on, she felt she could have a field day with this. After some time she began overhearing the topic of gang wars running about. These news interested her and she decided to investigate on the matter. Over time, she finally found enough information of the four lead gangs and their respective leader. Wanting to have a brand new level of fun, she’s now decided to join one for the hell of it. Is she getting ahead of herself? Or will she just say “screw consequences, I’m dead!” as per usual?

Personality: By modern day’s terminology, Shade is an enormous troll. Abandoning all sense of empathy, and repressing everything she was, all that’s left is a woman tormenting others in varying degrees of pranks and jokes. She’ll pair two people with little pretense just for her own amusement. She’ll poke fun at others for their failures, and mock them for attempting to kill her if it comes to that. She feels she has nothing to lose being undead and virtually un-killable. Perhaps she’ll be a nicer ghost, but as for now, she’ll bother others for her own amusement. Despite this rather sadistic mindset, she won’t kill. At least, as far as others have seen.
