Description CONTAINS SPOILERS but is there anybody who cares who DOESN'T know already
[EDIT]Well apparently except for Deb. Woops. 8D[/EDIT]

...I had way too much fun with this.

Far from the only thing I've been doing lately, but this'll be the last thing I can upload before leaving for China.
MIGHT upload stuff after that time...Maybe if I get bored on the plane or something.

Top: waaayyyy too much fun. And yeah that's Erk. It actually started out as Bastian...and Lucia started out as Mia. Wtf.

1. Oh Ikey-poo...

2. The people depicted are in no ways higher up on my "list of awesome" than the people listed in the background. They just happened to be drawn first before I ran out of room. THERE ARE SO MANY FUN CHARACTERS.

3. See I did not cheat and use 10. P:
(Yup that's Paul and Jasmine. 8D; )

4. This is a message from Lord Nergal: I was this close to sticking Denning in there. For kicks.

5. This book. Mostly stuck in there for the lulz and not really related to the battle that's supposedly going on.
I drew myself looking kinda like China sans ponytail orz
I once stuck Florina in the middle of 8 wyvern riders and within range of two ballistas, with an iron sword equipped. She came out with a scratch.

6. HO HO HO IT'S MAAAGIC

7. I'm one of those weirdos that find friendship more interesting in the vast majority of cases.

8. For the confused, go read Lucia and Ilyana's A support .

9. If you took out the Fire Emblem in 7, nothing would change except for a single missing chapter where you go on a fetch quest for it. So pointless. >>
I'm not sure what the medallion actually looks like.

10. Yeah and right after Shine missed an enemy bishop clobbered Legault with Purge which had a 17 displayed hit .
But I love tomes. There's just something about using a BOOK as a weapon - even if you never get to smack anybody with it.

11.

I know this is old, but I stumbled on it. Cool stuff! I like how you're holding the Sunzibingfa as tactician, lol. And yeah, RNG's the biggest pain.

You draw the characters really well! I like how you drew the magi casting in particular.

Actually Bern's Emblem does serve a technical purpose, but it's elaborated in FE6 rather than 7. In 6 it activates the Sword of Seals, the main weapon in the game. Mostly it's used as a political tool among the royal family, though.

Yeah, it was on the level with the priests you have to shove out of your way that Volke missed at 99%. He was fighting a Feral One and he jusmped into the air, and I was thinking 'Dead Kitty', and then he missed... I was sitting there thinking 'WTF?'. When Astrid hit with a 1%, I could have kissed her, because she killed a Soldier before he could kill Danved/Devdan.

I wonder how little Florina would do against Haar? That boy is like a General with WINGS! He is the best DragonLord when it comes to smashing anything but a huge cloud of mages. Then again, Jill can back him up, for she's only slightly weaker than him, but has much more resistance...

Then again, have you seen the Youtube Videos that have FE characters fight each other at max stats? I love that Naesala beat Tibarn. GO NAESALA! And A Maxed Kurthnaga is insane to defeat! Ike, Micaiah, Pelleas, Elincia, Sanaki, Ilyana, and Bastian were defeated easily by him! That is why he is awesomeness!

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Guavi In reply to The-Demon-King999 [2010-07-26 19:02:50 +0000 UTC]

That would depend on whether or not Haar is 3rd tier, and if you are going by max or average stats. ...I'm too laz-I mean busy to do the calculations. xD Haar is pretty hax, yup. (Which might possibly have something to do with why I always end up ditching him. >___> )

Yup, I've seen those. ^^ RD has some seriously screwed up caps, though, which was where all those fights were staged at. What do you mean my mage army can't double?

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

The-Demon-King999 In reply to Guavi [2010-07-26 19:21:07 +0000 UTC]

Haar in 3rd Tier isn't fair, at least, until you get to the Goddess's Tower. Then he isn't so good against certain enemies (Spirits).

Mages usually have low str, so they can't double because their tomes are too heavy. Ilyana, Bastian, and Soren usually have no problem, but Sanaki and Micaiah have low str, so their tomes weigh them down.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Guavi In reply to The-Demon-King999 [2010-07-26 20:10:34 +0000 UTC]

But str is not at all the problem. Tome wt is low enough that, past entry-level, mages easily gain enough str to wave them around no problem. The real problem is the spd cap. An archsage with capped spd can only double some of the slowest opponents (even some of the generals are not slow enough in HM, if memory serves me), as opposed to sages being able to double just about anything in previous games. Which is why people make such a big deal out of Rexflame being the best SS tome, since it gives additional speed to help Tormod or Calill overcome the low cap.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

The-Demon-King999 In reply to Guavi [2010-07-26 20:22:48 +0000 UTC]

Well, Pelleas can double most, including Swordmasters, with Balberith. Soren is usually one of the fastest, thanks to RexCalibur being the lightest of all tomes except RexAura. Sanaki is also very fast if you get her speed and Strength up, she can double opponents easily. The only tome I ever have trouble getting someone to double with is RexBolt, which is wielded by Ilyana. Bastian is the only other ArchSage that can wield RexCalibur, so he is also pretty fast, but only slightly slower than Soren, but has better def and str. Calill tends to be relatively slow for me, but when I get her speed up, she can be awesome. Hell, any unit can be awesome, even Micaiah, who people constantly put down because they suck at guerilla tactics. They like the ability to just smash though things. I like that too, but its more fun to have a weak army, so its more of a challenge.

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Guavi In reply to The-Demon-King999 [2010-07-27 00:48:11 +0000 UTC]

Are you sure we're playing the same game?
1. Outside of overleveling + data transfer (which I have most certainly done on multiple occasions because I play favorites), none of them have ever been able to "easily double."
2. Tome wt almost never, with the exception of Sanaki and maybe long-distance bombing, affects AS. Take Ilyana, for instance. She arrives with 6 str without data transfer. By the time she class-changes to thunder sage she averages 12-13 str; Rexbolt is only 14 wt. When she hits 3rd tier and becomes capable of getting an SS in thunder, she averages 20 str. Unless the RNG has a serious grudge against you, Rexbolt will never be too heavy. Ilyana just has bad speed stat.
3. Calill ties with Tormod on having the second-highest speed growth of all magic users, behind Pelleas. She easily caps speed halfway through 3rd tier, while it is quite likely Ilyana never will. "Getting her speed up" doesn't exactly require praying to the RNG. Getting Sanaki's speed and strength up high enough so that she can double, however, does. Calill does arrive with a terrible base, though, so I can see where you are coming from.
4. I agree that people tend to prefer smashing to hit-and-hide. But I also agree with them that Micaiah is kind of terrible, just as I will admit (as much as I love the character) Sanaki is terrible. A while back I was playing in easy mode just to see how quickly I can plow my way through it using only a handful of my favorite people plus required ones per chapter. She still had trouble killing much of anything by herself each round. The fact that she will die as soon as you leave her open aside, she doesn't even qualify as a glass cannon. (Due to the Favorite People Only policy, everyone was overleveled silly. It was a special kind of satisfying to rush Soren down alone in 3-5 into the midst of a giant mass of enemies and watch him come out of flattening everything, including the boss, with nary a scratch. Brings back memories of Pent in the desert chapter. 146 avoid in your face, Begnion. P: )

It is more fun in some respects to have an army that doesn't just roflstomp it's way through every map. It is, however, extremely frustrating to know that while you are toiling away with relatively bad units, the game is just laughing at you and dangling ready-made nukes in your face *coughroyalscough*.

The-Demon-King999 In reply to Guavi [2010-07-27 20:04:05 +0000 UTC]

Its probably due to the fact that I don't like to play favorites unless I have to. My favorite Character, Stefan, comes in late, so he don't count, but everyone else I tend to keep their levels relatively close. If one gets too powerful, you tend to rely on them too much, and if they get stuck in a situation that'll either kill them or get another person killed (Perfectionist, likes to keep EVERYONE alive), then your screwed. That might be my problem, I LOVE high difficulty. The more of a challenge, the better I like to shine. That's why I always take on the best of the best with the worst and come out the winner. Not to mention, I'm cheap, I know that all is fair in love and war. Pent, he has a slightly lower avoid than Ulki does. Ulki usually maxes about 252 for me, and that's if I'm lucky, but if I'm not, its 190-209. The only Royal I like is Naesala, and that's because he is actually KILLABLE, unlike Tibarn, who I just love to see if I can kill him EVERY CHAPTER I have him. I tend to have Micaiah powered up like hell, so I don't have to worry as much about the getting killed if left open. Then again, almost every mage is like that. You leave them alone long enough in a large group of enemies, and they will die. After all, Micaiah for me killed at least 3/4s of everyone in the chapter where she tries to burn Sanaki (and Kieran if you pay attention) alive. Not to mention, Pent wouldn't be able to dodge the BLack Knight. No chance he would be able to defeat the big BK by himself. I have to agree with you on one thing, though, Easy is far too much fun, especially if you've defeated Hard mode like 8 times. Sanaki can be a god if you get her to max level and get her high speed and str. Btw, Ilyana is programmed to have extremely high str for a mage. Its about a 55% chance for it to level each time. Hell, one time I had her almost as strong as Zihark (Before I got him). I can imagine her picking him up and tossing him around, not to mention picking up his sword and cutting down a bunch of enemies.

I live in America, we might have different versions of the game if you live in Europe.

I don't mean to be rude, but now you're just not making any sense.
The above is a polite statement of my confusion. I swear. And the following is a friendly discussion of game mechanics with no condescending tone of voice. And definitely none of my endless supply of sarcasm. The previous statement was not sarcastic. Just so we're clear.

"Its probably due to the fact that I don't like to play favorites unless I have to."
Which makes it even less likely that those characters can do what you are telling me they can, as they never get to that point ever UNLESS I play favorites.

"Pent, he has a slightly lower avoid than Ulki does."
RD has an extra tier. The comparison is irrelevant.

"I tend to have Micaiah powered up like hell, so I don't have to worry as much about the getting killed if left open."
I max all archsages/light priestess that I field by endgame or ASAP. They (minus the downright ludicrous avd that is Ike Soren A support + maxed stats + bond bonus + transfer bond bonus + daunt + good biorhythm) still drop dead at the slightest careless mistake. Power-up as much as you'd like, the caps are the limits.

"The only Royal I like is Naesala, and that's because he is actually KILLABLE, unlike Tibarn, who I just love to see if I can kill him EVERY CHAPTER I have him."
I mentioned royals not because I like them. I don't. I mentioned it to point out that the game is silly for having them in the first place. Maybe you misinterpreted the undertone; I'm sorry, I tend to do that. I have trouble communicating with even some friends who don't know how to read between the lines.

"After all, Micaiah for me killed at least 3/4s of everyone in the chapter where she tries to burn Sanaki (and Kieran if you pay attention) alive."
I marvel at how you managed that. Really. How? It took her two rounds to kill anybody for me, and by that point your Other units would have killed off at least 3 enemies.

"Not to mention, Pent wouldn't be able to dodge the BLack Knight [sic]."
Extra tier aside, the two games have different stat distributions. Your comparison, while interesting, is irrelevant. I didn't bring up Pent to say he was the best character ever; I did it to point out that when he first showed up in the aforementioned desert chapter, he is powerful enough to single-handedly pwn the entire map before a bad tactician can even get his army to the bosses. It was merely to compare how outclassed the opponents were. And what does Pent not being able to defeat BK have to do with anything?

"Sanaki can be a god if you get her to max level and get her high speed and str."
The problem being you have to either be ridiculously lucky or abuse the RNG in order to get her enough str. That or use stat-up items. But once you consider stat-up items, anyone can technically be a "god" if you abuse those enough times - until you reach endgame, where certain classes get screwed over by caps.

"Btw, Ilyana is programmed to have extremely high str for a mage."
My point was that exactly. You mentioned you had trouble with Rexbolt's wt. I was pointing out that was impossible.

I like a challenge, too. I almost always ditch Haar, try to leave Ike in the back whenever reasonable, try to use Fiona, etc. But there is a difference between enjoying a challenge and being a masochist. A HM solo run of forced units only, for a completely random example, is just stupid. Maybe it's doable. But I don't plan on going through the tedious steps to find out.
...Well, maybe I am. Who knows. I'm an artist; we're all masochists.

For the record, I do live in America.

Why do people always think its hard to level people up? Its really easy! Well, the way I do it is. Pent vs the BK would be interesting, but now you have me visioning Pent like I do Stefan. Popping out of the sand and killing everything in sight just because every enemy loves him for some weird reason. I've had instances where Ilyana has had too low of a str stat to use RexBolt effectively. Tiers are for queers, just because you mentioned them. I managed Micaiah killing that many because I bottlenecked them. While everyone who had heavy armor (Knights, Nolan{For me}, Taurneo) or has a high dodge (Volug, Edward, Leonardo) stood in the way, she just killed everything, and while she did that, Laura healed everyone in the mean. Not to mention I love to level her to max before I need to. Hell, I've gotten to defeat Kieran once, but that was a long time ago, and I did it just like above, but I didn't kill anyone, I just had defensive stances for everyone, and had Micaiah and Laura heal them while Leo and Edward lead the attack from behind their lines. I don't need to play favs, I level those that I know will be useful later and get the ones who will be forced to upgrade classes to lvl 20, than almost never use them. Once I get someone to the top tier, I drop them until I need em'. And I am EXTREMELY lucky, I don't know why, but I have the most amazing luck EVER. If you don't believe me, think of these! Surviving walking into two Western Diamondbacks in an abandonded house or nearly getting kicked in the face by one of our horses. You have to have at least a LITTLE luck to go through that and more. PS - LAGUZ DON'T HAVE AN EXTRA TIER!

The BK is actually fairly easy to defeat. I've actually killed him in the Swamp level because I brought along my lvl 20 Dragonlord Haar, mainly just because I wanted to recruit Jill (The same reason I bring along Ilyana) and then I wanted to see how Haar would do against the BK, so after I had Ike fight him, I had Haar go Leeroy Jenkins on him. He won, but just barely. Then Micaiah got herself killed by him by attacking him while Haar had his Short Axe.

Note - Just because you live in America, don't mean you got the American Version. Then again, I may have the European Version, so that might account for some differences...

"Why do people always think its hard to level people up?"
IDK, maybe because the ones everyone complains about usually have trouble killing anything on their own?

"I've had instances where Ilyana has had too low of a str stat to use RexBolt effectively."
Let's look at it this way. Assuming the RNG hates your guts and somehow never gave Ilyana a str up (less than .004% chance occurrence, probably by a lot since I don't know and therefor did not take into account how the guaranteed +1 stat up is calculated). She starts with base 6. She gains 3 upon promotion 1, and +5 upon promotion 2. She can't possibly use Rexbolt until archsage due to weapon level restrictions. This gives her 14 str to wield Rexbolt in the worst case scenario. Rexbolt only has 14 wt.

"Tiers are for queers, just because you mentioned them."
Completely wrong context for the word "tier." TIRES DON EXITS, AMIRITE.

"While everyone who had heavy armor (Knights, Nolan{For me}, Taurneo) or has a high dodge (Volug, Edward, Leonardo) stood in the way, she just killed everything"
I don't know about you, but babying a character in this manner counts as playing favorites to me. I thought you said you don't like to play favorites unless you have to? From a purely objective standpoint, the most efficient way to clear the chapter would be to just let the more durable characters hack their own way through everything - a feat they all are more than capable of accomplishing. To act against efficiency is to apply your own personal preferences - to play favorites, if you will. I don't normally play for efficiency. Some people do. Each to their own.

"Not to mention I love to level her to max before I need to."
My confusion over your statements on favoritism stands.

"PS - LAGUZ DON'T HAVE AN EXTRA TIER!"
Technically no, but they do have 20 extra levels compared to the 2-tiered PoR, which is the equivalent to an extra tier.

"Dragonlord Haar"
I'm not sure what to say to you anymore. You really just brought up Dragonlord Haar. It takes a lvl 20 Dragonlord Haar 2 hits to off the BK, of COURSE it's easy. On the other hand, if it's not favoritism to get someone to -/20/20 by that chapter I don't know what is.
I wouldn't know from experience, but having a max level Haar go Leeroy Jenkins must be loads of fun. :]

"Note - Just because you live in America, don't mean you got the American Version. Then again, I may have the European Version, so that might account for some differences..."
Note - unless you have a hacked Wii, games from different regions will not work on it.

The-Demon-King999 In reply to Guavi [2010-07-28 23:09:38 +0000 UTC]

I admit, Haar is one of my few major favorites, but I only level him up to max because I like him that much.

My Favs are as follows -
Naesala, Haar, Stefan, Kurthnaga, Ike, Micaiah, Boyd, Kieran, Rhys, Zihark, Lethe, Lyre, Shinon, and Ranulf.

Not to mention, Haar usually promotes to Dragonlord by the time of Part 2 Endgame. I don't like doing that, because it makes him overpowered, but its still entertaining to do so. And having Haar go Leeroy Jenkins IS fun, extremely unless you're facing mages, then its a bad idea, choose Jill for that one. I've had him kill everything in a level before, and he started at level 9 and went to level 19, with 79 exp in the bar. Either way, I said I don't like it, not that I don't do it.

20 extra levels don't matter much when they don't get a superboost from Class Changes.

14 wt requires 16 str, and I just happened to be "lucky" enough to get only 15 str.

Hmm, then maybe I have an European Wii? I don't really care all that much, but I'd like to think I don't. So on that part...

You, good sir, have taken the discussion out of context so many times that I don't know where this is going anymore. My initial points, which I have tried to stay to, were simple.
Please excuse me for finding it hard to believe that you managed to receive something with an occurrence chance considered insignificant enough to be zero by any reasonable statistical test. Even if it did happen to you, the fact that it is so unlikely makes your isolated case (again, while interesting) irrelevant to the point being discussed. And please also excuse me for finding it hard to believe you imported every single game you own, especially when that region often gets releases months after that of your country of residence.
Excuse me for being a skeptic by nature and not giving you the benefit of the doubt.
I'm trying to be civil with this discussion. You are making it difficult.

Not to mention, I don't even recall where this started, and you would be the one taking this out of context. I've properly responded to each and every one of your retorts to the best of my ability. I think this is mainly you OVER-analyzing the conversation we've been having to the point of trying to disect it with a battleaxe. And I am not a good sir, which I'm guessing that you used to be sarcastic or something of that sort. I'm not a knight in any way except for the honor system, and I am most certainly not Good, I am Chaotic Good. I love killing things, especially in reality. Makes the experiance that much more real. Now, I realize that you will respond to this will the upmost haste and with a great deal of anger or disgust, as you have done already. Plus, there is no such thing as civil in society. People, without government, are beasts, completely selfish and infiniately ignorant of anything but what matters to them. I have much better things to do than respond to these with my limited window of time that I may be on the internet, so I will no longer respond to your replys. Now, I instantly can tell your reaction to that, and it will be one such as "Good, about time you shut up". Of course, those with such boorish speech are not like those of you and I. I'll expect something much more sophisticated from someone like yourself.

I bid you a farewell and the best of luck in all of your non-violent adventures and the like.

*shrug* I'm pretty sure this started with glaring holes in your facts and logic. Pardon me for being confused by contradictions and bringing it up. This monster is my fault for not acting on the suspicion that you don't know how to carry on a discussion containing evidence and logic. There were far too many things in your discourse that I could have poked great malicious fun at but have ultimately kept to myself, hence "trying to be civil." I'm sorry, maybe I should have over-analyzed that too since that was the only part that somewhat made it through to your understandings.
You love killing things? Good for you, you'll be happy as a butcher. Shame such fine "shock" material is wasted. Spending half one's life in a third-world country does wonders to desensitize one from what prim-and-proper Americans consider to be unfit for this world. Shame, too, that if you actually knew what you were talking about we could have been good friends under different circumstances.
I already told you my intent. You chose to ignore it and read it with tones of "anger and disgust." Maybe I should have copy-pasta'd it between every single line just to remind you so you could spare yourself some grief, but it's a bit late now. It's about time we both shut up.
I am saving this conversation. Thank you for a good load of entertainment. Farewell to you, too.

It's a great game. :3 I'd say close to my favorite, except the contenders for my favorite game of all time offers far too steep a competition. (I can't even pick one, haha.)

MAGES!! XD teehee, this was fun, even though the image took ages to load >__<

Lucius is epic. I mean, light magic, it attack humans - not zombies - with light! Well, zombies too, in Sacred Stones... *random*

xD Sorry 'bout that, but memes do tend to be thousands of pixels long if uploaded at a decent, visible resolution. Glad it was fun after the wait, though!

Lucius is epic except for his defense and luck, which are epic fail.

This made me laugh so hard. xD

-is an obsessive FE 7 fan-

I'm currently in the middle of Eliwood's story Hard Mode... close to throwing my GBA at the wall, since Lucius actually learned how to miss... D:

This was hilarious and the drawings are all really well done!

FE7 is love. <3

Ah, I never got around to playing hard mode. D: Though I definitely know how you feel. Wtf, Lucius, why so much missing with 90+ hit? D<
(I tried once to get full tactician rating, but gave up halfway because I realized there's no getting around my obsessive "NOOOOO MUST STAND AROUND FOR 9284571387989 TURNS FOR SUPPORTS." xD
...I did get full rating for funds, though. As usual. >___> *hella stingy lol*)

Thank you!

It is~~~~

Yeah, no kidding. In Normal Mode, i actually promoted Lucius before Canas, he was such an epic bishop tank. But in Hard Mode, because of his low defense, he's been demoted to wafer boy. >: One hit and he has to run to Priscilla for healing.

(xD Maybe I could consider doing that. I haven't had much success with supports... the game should have a Support ranking.)

LOL. The only thing I managed to get full ranking for all the stories in normal mode was survival. Back then, I didn't realize that Merlinus could only manage 100 items... >.> My fund rating was pathetic. |D;;;;

You're very welcome! 8D

lol I love your tactician panelxD And 9 is my fav too:3 (10 was almost as good but 9 was the very first one I playedxD After that I played some of the others) And those favourite weapon panels are cool too, I have experienced same kind of situationsXD (hit% over 90 and MIIIIISS). Nice work Now I wanna do it myself tooxD I have been telling myself "later, later..." but now I think it could be time to do it

Aside from the plot holes and zero character development for nearly everyone and the lack of satisfying paired endings (or just satisfying endings, period) and the horribly unbalanced classes, yeah, 10 was good. >_> I did enjoy playing it, as far as gaming goes, but it left me more disappointed than anything else.
Haha, I have a friend who's experienced a 99 hit -> miss before. I don't envy her.
Do it!! Show the world your love for the series!

Yeah I was kinda disappointed in FE10 because of the things you mentioned, but I think I enjoyed it very much just because of the nostalgic feeling it gavexD It had been around 4 years since I played the 9 for the first time so I was really excited>w> But killing the support conversations was a really bad decicion... Hopefully next one will have them

Hmm let's see if I could get it done sometime during these 2 next weeks...X)

I LOVE the panel with Ashnard and Soren. Absolutely hilarious. "My ride is your uncle"! Yeah, I'm still amazed at the non-resemblance between those two. Also, Soren and Pelleas are brothers...?

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 1

Guavi In reply to Azkam [2010-04-23 03:38:12 +0000 UTC]

I can't say it's my favorite, but it was definitely too much fun to come up with. :] I suppose any resemblance past the pasty skin tone would have screamed "SPOILER" a game too early. Not that Kurth didn't. xD; But then again that was the other side of the family.
No, they're not, unless you consider Pelleas fully adopted; in which case they would be adopted siblings. Somewhat. That family tree's just a mess. xD

Azkam In reply to Guavi [2010-04-24 02:33:33 +0000 UTC]

Shortly after I read this I found a site with the game script, and of course I saw the little secret scene that says that Soren and Pelleas are in no way related. Still epic, though.

Soren's brain would probably essplode if he knew. ^_^

Guavi In reply to Azkam [2010-04-26 03:29:04 +0000 UTC]

I wouldn't be surprised if he figured it out already, though. There's plenty of clues lying around and the Branded isn't exactly a populous group - once you narrow things down a bit there isn't much more to guess from. Unless of course the writers for Tellius insist that everyone is an idiot. Which is likely, given their past tendencies. >_>
Whether or not he chooses to acknowledge the fact, however, is a different issue entirely.
All this is, of course, according to my own interpretation of the character.

Azkam In reply to Guavi [2010-04-27 13:15:15 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, I think that if Soren knew, he wouldn't do anything about it. Stepping up to be King of Daein is probably the last thing he wants.

He'll just stick with Ikey. ^_^ Haha, I'm not an Ike x Soren shipper, but when I read their flashback scene I really didn't know what to think. No wonder so many people call Soren a whiny emo-child. :<
