Unused rough concept sketch for Wheelie, which was meant to be part of the "All Hail Megatron" cast in the early plans of the series.Because of the events occurred in Spotlight:Wheelie, he has been written out from the series, and I didn't develop ulteriorly this design.

Wheelie looks like a kid, but like human years 12-16 and no longer 10-13. He is stated to be a child, but he might not be in the idw version.

Actually I was contacted back on late 2005 about doing designs for the movie, then plans changed drastically, and I never heard again about that.
Personally I would have gone for something inspired by the darker style used in the TF G2 comic. Oh well...

That's a damn shame, because I detest the movie designs. They're all way too busy and frankly ugly, while your stuff pretty much defines what these characters should look like.

Looks really good. A shame he doesn't get the respect and proper development he deserves. Maybe that will make people like him more.

I really like these concepts of a grown up Wheelie. My favorite one is the rightmost one though. The pipe shoulders and one-wheeler vehicle is much more original and befitting of Wheelie since he is supposed to be a futuristic alien vehicle. I also like the chest plating design the most because it's more true to that in his youth.

I like the actual one wheel version since the name Wheelie kinda makes more sense that way.
I really actually dug his spotlight appearance, it took a character i knew but didn't really like and gave him an interesting enough background that i've developed a fondness for the little rhyming punk since then.
