I started off really wanting to do something in a powder blue - something cute. And everything had issues somewhere. So, I decided to go for something of a more country witch - homespun robes and the like. A bit of a deviation from the original lines, for which I hope the artist will forgive me.

I might go back at some point and try and see about keeping the robes black, maybe going with a lavender trim or the like. But I'm way too busy with other projects.

Very nice, Liesl! Your colors always make me smile. I agree about the improvement in the skin tones. The skin has been looking a lot smoother recently. Keep up the great work.

And, this is either going to sound crazy, or you'll know exactly what I'm talking about...but I kind of leveled-up on skin colouring over the past few days. Not only does it look better, but it's taking me about 1/4 of the time and at least 3 less layers.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. I think I might have "leveled-up" on sculpting while working on you-know-who. Then again, maybe I'm just being more patient this time. But anyway, yep, I think the improvement's showing in your colors.

Patience is a wonderful thing. Acknowledging when you don't have it is even better. That's what I've really had a lot of the last few days. In truth, she was coloured in 3 45 minute sessions, because I didn't have the patience to work any longer.

Hmm...I'm really not sure why he hasn't done a gypsy yet. With all the themes he goes for, and the fact he's got a loon named 'gypsyleo' coloring his stuff is kinda like putting two and two together, but maybe that's just me Fingers crossed, anyway.
