But like with anything else, it just takes practice. Urnes style is a pretty good style to practice with first; In fact it was the first style I practised with before I got a bit more daring to try my own original works.

This is really great! Good to see someone else doing the norse style, too. Most contemporary knotwork you can find is celtic which is quite sad, since the viking style is much more vivid... Keep up the nice work!

Ah. It reminds me of Celtic knots anyway, and it looks awesome. My dad makes celtic knot carvings out of wood.
