Anyway, I've seen this concept around, and thought it was incredibly fun.
Just a really quick doodle, to keep my muses satisfied. <3

Well, I think that Greed and Envy are the perfect perversions of his Light character, so I'd say those. I don't think Lust or Wrath fit him as well, don't encompass all aspects of his character as well. But really, the nice thing about the seven sins is that they're a part of all of us, so he could really be any one of them.

I know, right?? I feel like, since Hughes was such a GOOD person, seeing him as evil just makes it that much worse. Like everything about him got twisted and perverted, somehow.
Oooo. I hadn't thought about it. Maybe... Gluttony could work? Or Greed or Envy. Mostly because they're the opposite of his good characteristics, and because I don't see him as Pride, Wrath, or Sloth. Or lust (lol). What do you think?

I think that lust works best for him. A very deviant, sexual offender kind of lust. I could just imagine him creeping into a person's house or room looking for a of fun and just being completely unmoved by human suffering. I half expect him to offer candy or rides to little girls and them vanishing forever.
That's the scary part of this homonculus, you get the feeling that he's touched by nothing at all. In this pic he's stone cold and you feel it.

Uh, technique? I ... er... don't recall, exactly. I think I used a bit of black and white sketching over a texture, overlaid a color, overlaid a texture, put in some more colors (YAY COLORS!!!

I dunno... Have you seen the OVA with him and Mustang on the battlefield? I think it's called "Yet Another Man's Battlefield Once More", and Hughes gets really intense when Roy calls him out near the end. I actually think that Hughes used goofiness as a cover, a lot of times. But that's just me.

Yeah. He's actually a dangerous man, when you think about it. He's a trained killer, who uses his knives with no hesitation in both the manga and the animes. He is ready to kill to survive. He's also an intelligence officer, meaning he not only has a keen mind which he uses to find out people's most intimate secrets and then turn those secrets against them, but the fact that he's an officer also means he's good at his job. It's only the fact that Hughes is also a GOOD PERSON that makes us like him, that turns him into a hero. He chooses to work for others' good in the end, instead of selfishly seeking his own advance. He's a great father, and loving husband. But we can't forget that he has that other side to him, as well, because it's his duality which makes him a truly interesting character, don't you think?
