Description
Shortly after rise of Sassanids and overthrow of Arsacid Dynasty of Persia, the new Persian Empire came into various of conflicts with its neighboring kingdoms in the east. The first major expansions in the eastern regions began during reign of Ardashir I in early 3th century AD which caused further wars between Persian Sassanids and the Indian Kushans. The conflicts escalated into brutal battles till the Bactrian campagins of Shapur I of Persia put an end to them, and led to decline of Kushan Empire.
This scene is supposed to illustrate Shapur's elite Savaran Cavalry charging the Kushanite foot soldiers in Bactria (modern-day Afghanistan).

they was culrural mixture of iranian, indian, nomadic (iranians and later huns) and helenic cultural influence, so they have also strong cavalry, not only infantry

How much do we know about the Kushana weapons and so on? Very nice, BTW.

actually we don't know that much, or at least i couldn't find more informations about them on wiki, but they would have been probably much like their better known successors, the guptas. indians during the time used various number of different shaped swords, especially long swords, but the armours are my own invention inspired by the armours in the movie ''alexander the great''. thx 4 the feedback^^
