Don't even get me started on the shoujo anime transformation sequences. SWEET JESUS. YOU DON'T NEED TO SHOW THEM EVERY GOD DAMN TIME.

I can stand it when Allen transforms but when its Suo Pavlichenko from Darker than black season 2 when she uses her ability and summons a gun thing and it comes outta her neck or whatever i flip out. I mean it goes on forever. Its fine when allen does it because it doesn't take as long and its not as annoying lol

Oh god. The ones in Tokyo Mew Mew took FOREVER AND A FREAKING DAY. I stopped watching the show when I realized how ridiculous the story was getting. :I

Thank the Lord they always cut out and sped up Panty and Stocking's transformations after the first one. Even the voice actresses say the chant faster. LOL

Suo's "transformation" scene (a.k.a. a ridiculously long gun morphing out of her necklace) in the 2nd season of Darker than Black killed me every time. What a lousy excuse for a contractor.

I don't understand why the villain just takes the transformation as an oppertunity to escape. Unless time stops while the hero transforms.

I have two theories. One, the transformation makes time stop or two, the villain is too blinded, stupid, or stunned to escape.

I highly doubt that the transformation stops time because I've seen it when their transformation is interrupted which wouldn't be possible if time stopped.Unless of course they lose their power. So I think that the villain is just REALLY stupid.
