This is a very elegant style. I love it- and also how the ducks are camoflauged in their surroundings.
Beautiful work.

Thank you that means a lot to me...I really enjoyed doing this one. This was the last one in the waterfowl series and I think my favorite.

This is lovely work, tell me what mediums did ya use?
I see some micron stippling and some sort of charoal or graphite?
Whatever it is, the two mediums are really inhancing eachother.
I feel like the only thing that is struggling in this picture is top left corne.. I like how it goes into the white, but perhaps there is too much white? Maybe a little bit more fog or some small grass in the distance would help it out. Other than that, this piece is technically very well rendered.
You're a great artist, cant wait to see more from you. Peace SMILE!

Hey Pete....Thanks for the compliment and I do see what you mean....maybe more fog would have been a good idea. It was an 11 X 14 done with Ink and Watercolor...it was the last one that sold at an auction/benefit. April 18 is looking amazing, I can't wait to see that one finished. How's the tattoo's coming? I have someone who wants a tattoo design, so in the near future I'll be working on it.

Pete...
Wow, sorry to hear you lost your power box, hopefully this new one will be even better for you than the last. You know I think I would really love doing tattoo work if I could just get past being scared as hell that I might hurt someone. I see you are another late night artist...quite a few of us.

Yeah, with tattoos i had to realize that people will be in pain.
when i first started i was very easy and careful not to hurt... i wouldnt let the needle go deep enough under the skin, producing a very faint line. But after going to a parlor and seeing a guy come out with a tribal shoulder piece and how much blood he had all over... i lost the fear. Now I look at it this way, the clients know that this may hurt, and they may bleed... and in order for the best work to come out, they will have to endur the pain.
You can practice on fake skin that they sell... its a little shitty so i just started on my own skin.
