Awesome! I tried making a pair of goggles last year. It's harder than I thought! Nice work!

Thanks for the kind words! Its really not too tough. I started out with a plain pair of $10 plastic goggles and started out just painting them black and replacing the elastic strap with a leather one. Then I just added bits and pieces over a period of about a year as they occurred to me.

Can you turn the flash off on your camera or is it automatic?

I can, but I think its one of those cameras that uses the flash to auto-focus. I've tried turning it off and the photos just come out blurry.
What I really need to do is get on a normal sleep schedule so I can go outside in the daylight to snap pictures.

ββ¦so I can go outside in the daylight to snap pictures.β Thatβs actually what I was going to suggest thatβs why I asked if you could turn the flash off. Before my camera broke I would take all my pictures without flash in a well lit room usually when the sun was shining in. It took a bit of experimenting to figure out which times of day were best but it was worth it.

To improve your flash photography technique when doing closeups, like the one of the goggles, make yourself a light tent, nice work on the goggles though
