Was bitching to Chuck the other day about DreamWave’s Capcom series – ya’ know, the Megaman books, in particular. After those did their “run” at only four issues, an MMX book was supposed t’ be en route or somethin’. Maybe I just haven’t been paying attention, but I haven’t heard any word on that since.
So yeah, felt like doing some Blue Bomber fan art. It’s been, like, a few years since I last tried drawing these character. (I suck at Capcom games – Megaman included – so fanart of their character – even kick-ass favorites like Mega – are an "only every once in awhile" thing f'r me.
) Ran it through the usual craptastic CG routine and voila. With all the busters and blades and tubes and ‘puters, I got a li’l carried away with the glowy. Again…

ya do know that megan x comic came out as a novel, after the completion of the four megaman issues, they even made those four issues into a voel as well

Oooh, the Megaman X comic. Now there's a long, twisted story that didn't come to a happy ending, and probably won't any time soon. But we can hope! Great work on the pic.

dude i just barley found this pic and its awesome, you got some serious taltent, but i love the most that you gave X some hair to poke out of his helmet besides zero; yea i heard about that dreamwave comic books they aren't doing an X series and its a shame. they should take some pointers from you

I love MegamanX. You're right about the comics though, have heard anything either. I don't think they plan on making it. These guys keep sleeping on the BlueBomber. Same as they did in the show. All it takes is the right man to do. THey need to put out more MMX anime like in X4. Like I said sleeeeeeeeeepppping....

Aaah! Dreamwave died horribly. They're no longer in business and owe lots of people lots of money so... no MMX comic! 
As for the pic... Awesome! I like the hair sticking out in different ways! The poses are cool too! Glowy is good. o_o

Dude, you never cease to amaze. your work is awesome! I admire your coloring ability and you tech. What do you use to color your pieces? Again your style is along the same lines as mine. I love it!

Well, you're color work is brillant. I've just been cruising through your gallery, AWESOME work, you've brought your own orignal and new style/concept to a ton of my favorite comic/game charaters. I've got PhotoShop 6 I believe, I haven't tried coloring anything on that, tried some stuff on Painter 7, but dosen't look like your work. I mostly color with colored pencils, thats about all I can color in.

Not a problem man, your stuff is awesome. can't say it enough. Painter is great, I've been using it for a year or so, and have just strached the surface of what it can do. What is XD? Do you do your pieces on paper first, in pencil, then ink and then scan them into Photoshop? I work with pencil, ink it, then use colored pencil. Can't quite grasp the concept of coloring with Photshop. My painter is a bootleg, works well, too broke to buy any of those programs, myself. Aight chat with ya soon.

[late comment, ehehe oops] Ahh cool pic. Very nostalgic of my old days of Megaman X. -- although even those days arent very long ago. For the longest time when i first got the game back in... what, 1993/1994? I couldn't beat that damn Sigma for the life of me. Just the other month I randomly decided to hook my SNES back up and give it another try. Wouldn't you know it, I beat the whole damn game in under an hour and a half.

Yeah, I've been wondering about the next issues too. They made the first four, and then NEVER mentioned it again! And nobody on the forums said whether the series was really cancelled or not. Jerks. The least they could do is tell us what's going on. Wahh~~ And I was really lookng forward to seeing some of Spaz's work outside of the Archie Sonic covers...
