It is hard to draw Xion and not make her look like a boy. The coat hides nearly everything.

I can tell you don't draw females much without reading your artist's comments; her face is masculine, but the figure did turn out well, and this is definitely better than any girl I've tried to draw. -_-;

Haha, yeah you speak the truth. :'D I've been trying to practice girls during these two years since this pic, though I'm not really sure how much I've improved. Though at least I can now say that my girls don't look completely like cross-dressing guys, as they have in the past. lol

Don't mind my suggestions, lol, but if you ever tried doing this one again you may want to make her hair just a fraction longer. It looks a little more Larxene-styled here (without the antennae of course XD)

Larxene style? Really? XD Hadn't thought of that.. Well I did a variation on Xion's hair since I felt like it at the time. lol I won't be redoing this pic, indeed I never redo pictures that I've officially finished, even if they're older and look crappy. I just like moving on to entirely new pictures all the time; however, if I do draw Xion again in the future, I was already thinking of making her hair more like the original design. So I'll keep your comment in mind.

Woo, I love the colours you used here ^^ And also the light rays (?) or shines that make the picture perfect ^^\\
The cloak with blue gives it lighting, so if you're ever going to do something with the same material, then use blue again ^^ I also think that her figure does look really correctly proportioned so yeah, great job on this
I guess the only really bad thing I can say about this is that Xion's eye brows are a bit thick for a female, normally (as I have observed) female has less thicker eyebrows than men ^^ But that's about all, cause your hands look fantastic with actual fingers. (unlike mine) XD <3

*laughs* Yes her eyebrows are a bit thick now that I see it. I will be sure to give my next female drawings more feminie features. I suppose it's because I'm more used to drawing guys, though if you can believe it, I used to be much worse. One of my first girls ended up looking like a drag queen. T.T It was sad, and yet hilarious in the same breath.

I love Xion. 
(I like Kairi at times, and I liked Namine for the most part...there were times when I got annoyed for the stuff they made her do, which she actually sort of wanted to do, even though she didn't want to be 'evil' but yeah...you know what I mean, I'm sure...)
But, I'm sorry to say, she -does- look a tad mannish. And it's not her chest. Or, exactly, her eyes. While eyes -are- very helpful with the gender thing, I think it's the angles of her face, and possibly the nose.
She looks good, and I do see the realism, which is good! And your style is amazing, you should never change...but there may be a way to make her more femmie and still your interpretation...?

*sigh* Oh, I suppose you're right dear. I went back and reviewed it. Though I still don't think the lineart is at blame. I went back and compared it to the coloured, and I think I realized my shading of the nose/face is it. Especially the curve I've been doing with the shading at the base of the nose. It is just a bit too realistic even for my anime style, and I've actually been wondering for a while now if I should even be doing it.
Ah but I want a second opinion on it all from you, just to make sure this is the case. I'll note you with lineart comparisons, if that's alright. (I don't really want to post them here, being slightly paranoid about art-theft...though I'm not sure who'd even want to steal it. xD )

Kinda hated to say so, because aside from being a Xion fan, I love your art, hun. Mmm...shading, huh? The base of the nose. Interesting theory. I'm not sure about that.
