A while ago I undertook a project to visually adapt the 2nd ed. gem dragons to look more like the 3rd ed. work. They actually released them in the 2nd monster manual, but they looked absolutely terrible. I was unenthused with the results, so I gave up before I colored em, or did any more. They did the Gem dragons again in 3rd addition's Monster Manual 2 but I wasn't very impressed. Most of them look kinda funky. Yours is definatly an improvement =}

Wow, so majestic and wise, it's inspiring! I love what you did with the tail on this one, and the crest on it's foremost leg gives it uniqueness beyond what it already has, like a signature. Once again, it would be mind blowingly awesome if you colored it!

Well, a lot of the design doesn't belong to me; it's the original design in the old D&D book. I just adapted it and updated, sorta. So, the features aren't machinations of my own.

You know what ? I hate you when you draw dragons.... you are too good ! I really really envy you !! and... want to try... I will, one day, I will. Too bad I actually can't, work work, like a lot of people I always have work to do before. But during my next holliday, I hope...

Again, love the wings...his head looks really cool, gives the impression of an old, wise creature to me. The detail in his skin and underbelly armor is just fantastic...The position of his right foreleg is awesome! I love how we see the twist in his wrist. xD Also like his hind left foot 'cause I can see all the tendons and stuff. O_o Very neat.
