Description
A black panthress (leopard), queen of the desert. I painted this over the last few days. It's rather dull and simple but it was good practice.Ah, I forgot. Here is the original pencil sketch [link] Please forgive the lousy scan XD I don't clean them up as none of the original sketch makes it into the final.
Edit: I attempted to fix a few things that were bothering people, but I'm tired of looking at this thing XD So no more crit, please. It's time for me to move onto other arts

Although it has been suggested that the earrings take too much attention from the face, i find myself drawn to the hint of green in the eyes as the focal point. All in the eye of the beholder and all that jazz.

I would fall in love with any panther that pretty. I love the expression on her face, and her eyes, oh those eyes just make you feel like you'd melt into her arms, even if you were just prey. I spent a long time a few years ago looking for a decent drawn anthro panther for my dear departed mom's Space Marine character, and this last week or so I've found a couple. Wish I'd known about DA back when she was alive, I think she would really have liked this one. I know I do.

You create your characters, in base to story, urban legends, mitology and all that may came to the human mind, right?

I think it's very pretty, reminds me of the Afghani girl of one of Geographic's most well known photographs. (the one with the ethereal eyes)
It's a little bit too much of the same composition wise, but the rendering is gorgeous and bold.
The only thing that 'bugs'me is that she's a beautiful black panther..but a *desert* queen. Somehow those two don't go well together perception wise, but that's just a personal thing as I cannot seem to associate Panthers with the desert.
Overall, wonderful work! I can learn a lot from you depicting felines ^^
