Description
A black panthress (leopard), queen of the desert. I painted this over the last few days. It's rather dull and simple but it was good practice.Ah, I forgot. Here is the original pencil sketch [link] Please forgive the lousy scan XD I don't clean them up as none of the original sketch makes it into the final.
Edit: I attempted to fix a few things that were bothering people, but I'm tired of looking at this thing XD So no more crit, please. It's time for me to move onto other arts

Oh, good job by the way. It is very simple, but I like the attention to detail, and the figure is well done too.

To start off with I must say that this is a very creative idea executed very well. Let me tell u what I like about it. The eyes are very appealing and its the center of attention. They glow and reflect well and looks so alive. Secondly the furr is awesome. I think u have done a tiring but amazing job on it. Even the cloth looks good with natural deapth and color.
Only one thing I see as to be improved. Which is the jewellery. The jewellery lack the glitter and shine on them. Im sure ur talented enough to create them that way. Is there a reason for you creating them like this without shine?

Well, I hate glittery, shiny jewelry myself. Plus, the native jewelry in the area isn't highly polished. In fact, it's rather crude. Moreso even than this picture shows. Also, several of my watchers found brighter jewelry distracting from the face, so I dulled it down.

I don't know how, but somehow even without the earrings and the decorations, this panther STILL looks quite girly, and that's hard to do if it's just a headshot of an animal.
It might be the shape of the face i dunno, but it's completely convincing.

Gorgeous... she looks like she would be in fine feline company with a couple Egyptian goddesses like SEKHMET and BAST... any chance of you adding those to your gallery? I'd love to see them depicted in your unique realistic style... just a suggestion
