challanged us to try our best and push ourselves for an emotional piece of artwork and I've tried pretty dern hard. Usually I find myself stumbling along but this was a joy to finish. Sometimes you can feel it when a picture is bound to go well, and every decision is natural and right. It was that way with this one, and I think it turned out fine.
The words are my own sentiment when I fail to remind myself that life is worth living, and that things aren't as bad as I may think; when I forget that fellow beings are as deserving of honesty, fidelity and kindness as I am in desiring it. It's not a poem; it's sentiment put to words, so don't judge it as one.

i really really like this.. it makes me want to get busy and draw some of the scenes in my charater's story.. this makes me think of V`Kahri, when she was betrayed by her mate and for several months enslaved and imprisoned. everything about this is moving. the lighting, the coloring, the style, it's all perfect. God i love those perfect drawings that seem so completely meant to happen, like they are beyond your control but everything about them happened so naturally.

The lighting is superb...very mysterious and creepy effect it gives. The belts look nice, and I love his expression and now the eyes just sort of stand out. The subtle detail in the tail in the background is also well done.

It really shows when someone puts their heart into a piece. I truley love this and think it's one of the highest calibar paintings (even if it was done digitally, I'm still going to call it a painting). I think the goal of every artist at some point is to successfully present and explain themselves, their emotions, and their imagination to others as believably as possible (and have fun doing it
