Yes. I usually start with a white color pencil, find out it doesn't produce a bright enough white, and then move to acrylic ha ha.

I amasking cause recently i bought pentel penbrush ans also white pntel marker
But geez it rly looks white for 30 seconds and thenbecome soo light that you hardly see it!
So in my work on brown paper i still wanted to use
And i had to make lines on one place around 20 times! To make it visible
So i thought there is other white markers that rly WORKS

I have tried all kinds of white pens and white markers. They were all crap. White golden acrylic with a fine scripting brush is the way to go.

my dog is the same with his ball if it's in the room his whole attention is focused only on the ball you can call him and he won't move unless you have food he'll very reluctantly move and still manage to keep one eye on his ball haha
