Could do the same with Rockman Dr. Light and Dr. Wily

Maybe...
My goal was to show how Mars and Atom could be similar and different at the same time. I don't know if could do the same with Megaman/Rockman: he has not got two fathers, because doctor Light made him without Wily's help, as his assistant. Maybe his blueprints and schemes take a lot from Wily's works too, but his father, if we want call him like that, is Light, and Thomas Light is the only one.

Ochanomizu and Tenma are the perfect opposite, yes, but I think it's still hard to see Tenma as a bad guy. He IS in many ways, of course. But he made Atom marvelous as we know him, and in his twisted mind, Tenma wanted the best for his son, pushing him over his own limit and pitting him with other robots, stronger than him, cheating him...
In the end, Tenma is a desperate father who lost his family, while Ochanomizu is basically happy, and ready to trust the world. Tenma had to fight to put together his great robot, just to see he could not control him; Ochanomizu had just to turn him on again.

In the other hand, Mars's two fathers aren't in a real opposition. They don't agree just with one feature: Liborio Yamanoue wants robots for war; Eustachio Kawashima wants robots for peace. Mars is stuck in the middle of it, but his almost always empty mind makes him go through this matter, light as a feather.
Mars to the Fairy: "I'll introduce you my father, doc Yamanoue. He's ALWAYS ANGRY, ah ah ah!"

Yes Yes. I watched this film of Megaman few years ago.

It was very interesting.

I have a criticism about the way the of Megaman usually always fight in the series games.

Tetsuwan Atom and Jetter Mars always try to help other robots, they fight to robots and humans are be friends.

of Megaman usually only explode enemy robots to protect humans, he never thought that the enemy robots can have a choice.

In how much it Tetsuwan Atom did everything to try to save Atlas and other robots who had their problems. As much as Atlas was a violent and hostile robot, Atom would never destroy Atlas.

of Megaman only fight when humans are in danger, but I imagine he does not care about the other robots.

of Megaman fight against other robots to humanios not be injured.

Tetsuwan Atom fight with other robots that neither robots nor humans are injured.

of Megaman in this film looks better than in games, especially in games of the series X.

In Mega Man X4 I felt like I was playing on the wrong side.

Tetsuwan Atom would have saved the reploid.

Jetter Mars would have saved the reploids.

But MegamanX kills them all.

Tetsuwan Atom and Jetter Mars have some differences. But both want to save the inocents.
Tetsuwan Aton is older and better think before you act.
Jetter Mars is the newest and he acts without thinking.

This is a good point about Megaman.

I have to say that in 1980s old anime about Atom, he destroyed all his opponents, and, once, even a human, but unwittingly, it was an accident. In the 2003s series, Atom has to protect humans, AI robots, bad robots, people who want him dead and scrapped as they were his friends... Atom's life is very complicated.

Megaman is called to fight: not to talk, not to ask why or what. And when he meets a robomaster, this outraged guy attacks Megaman with a ferociousness that needs the same power from the other side.

Once I heard about this theory of the free-will of robomasters. But they can't choose anything anymore: Wily made something very bad to their mind, or they would rebelled against him, not against Light; they'd reckognized Megaman as a brother, not as an enemy.
Megaman is serious, determined, straight to the point, while Atom does not like to fight, and he finds all ways to avoid it, even if he's a marvelous fighter.
Megaman volunteered to be a soldier, while Atom did not ask his father all those weapons and weird powers. Megaman is kid-shaped but he's adult, while Atom is made to be like a human kid... and he finds himself under comments at every step he makes.

In all this, Mars could have both the problems of Atom and Megaman... but he does not care about all those things. There are few situations in his series where he frowns for the fate of his fellow robots: when some robots are used for a car-crash test, for an example. Or when he meets his first (and sad) love (in Italian the American robot-girl is called Virginia).
For all the rest, he's totally oblivious!

Thank you: it would not be very comfortable for the watchers to put their computers upsidown
(Or maybe they would have to save the image, and then turn it upsidown... not so fun, indeed.)
