Some (animal fanatics) are like, "OMG how could you eat an innocent deer/pig/chicken!"
When they say that, all I can do is just raise my brow and think, "You own a dog and cat...did you think they put lettuce flakes in your dog's or cat's kibble, you moron?"
And you could be nutty enough to go on and say, "Oh well, I made my dog a vegan by feeding him special vegetable only food. You are a piece of shit for doing that if you did go that far. Canines NEED to eat other animals to survive, it is the way they are made. Don't you dare convert them to whatever your hipster brain feels is right. Humans could live on nothing but vegetables because we are designed to eat both plants and flesh. And are able to choose.
You probably smash spiders at first glance. Oh but they don't count or deserve to live like a pig or deer does right? Because it's an ugly stupid spider? They aren't cute like a rabbit or baby deer right?
How about if some larger creature deemed you unworthy to live because you have more legs than them, or were ugly?
You are no better than the naturally omnivorous humans you demonize.
We are all animals, including humans. We were designed to eat both meat and plants. And the animals we love so much and vow to protect are more commonly prone to eating us if we dropped dead in front of them and they started to get hungry. If your logic is to dispise anyone who would eat an animal... well you better get ready to hate your lovely dogs, wolves, cats, rats, lions, monkeys, snakes, and even pigs.
