Oh yeah! I read it. I always did wonder why they never really mentioned her husband on the show, outside of him being dead. And her inlaws were just SO pushy!

And her cousins were rude, intrusive and altogether too nosy.

If they had been my relatives, I'd have booted them out on their bums.

Yeah, my opinion as well. LOL.
Anyway when I was drawing the one with the Captain and Johnathan, just wanted to write something dramatic and looking at it came the idea for the fanfic to fit it.

Thanks. I watched the movie and then the Series for the first time when I was a little girl. And always could remember the Captain. Albeit that the Series itself i couldn't remember what was played later on as years passed away, but I always could remember the Captain and always shouted out when I saw the actor in other roles, always saying It's the Captain! About three years ago I finally got to watch the whole thing again the Series in DVDs I got from a friend abroad and sure I had the movie in DVD for 5 years now. Ha, I am still fascinated by the Captain as I was when I was a little girl.
