I think they're okay with the flat look. It doesn't distract from the detail in the water and the main focal point - the unicorns. I love the way you drew the water!

Thank you! The water took some time, it was a new experiment for me I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it turned out well. I'm feeling pretty happy about the decision for the flat sky for the reasons you have pointed out.
