Whenever I search up for Sally Acorn, one way or another a result shows up on why Sally should be in the games. One of the most agreed upon reason is, "She's based off the Rickys!!"ΒI don't know if that is true or not, but I made a comic about it. Enjoy~

Yes, but Sega says the comics are canon to the games as another dimension, similar to Blaze's. But Ricky (the squirrel in Sonic 1-3, and Lost World) is Sally Acorn. It's just another version of the same character.
