I really enjoyed making all the fluffy bits on the face of my recent Fluffy Cat-Dragon Hybrid and decided to have another go at it. I like the fluffy look, but that, paired with the much shorter faces that I've been using for this style got me thinking that perhaps these aren't dragons per se, but some sort of close relative. I've decided to call them fluffkins for the time being. Since this little one has the long, skinny noodle dragon body type, I guess that makes this a noodle fluffkin.

After making the Golden Peacock Dragon , I knew I wanted to see how those peacock flakes looked on a white backdrop, so I chose white pearl as my base color, because I always like how the darker swirls look in the pearl and metallic clays. I added a teal blue mane and tail tip because I love the white and blue color combination, and then I added my peacock flakes. Very happy with the colors there, but I felt like something was missing, so I added some gold flakes to the mane, and that made me happy. The more color the better, right?

Crafted from Premo polymer clay, Lumiere Lusters peacock flakes, Solar Color Dust gold chroma flakes, and hand-painted glass cabochons.
