The second most well known space pirate. It's a shame he was cut out of Metroid Prime. And it's a shame they didn't search for any spots in Prime 2 and 3 for him.
I think he would have made a better boss in Brawl than having Ridley TWICE... ( granted it was Meta Ridley the second time, it still stinks )
...Man Kraid is a hard little bugger in the original Metroid.

Now I know that Kraid was always underrated as a Metroid villain. He never gets any positions in any of the new Metroid Games.

I was pretty certain he was a space pirate. He was mentioned as one in the Metroid instruction manuel.
Also he was planned to appear in Metroid Prime, on Talon IV.
