Big file!One of two suggestions I have for dA.
suggestion #2:
As the image was processing I realized that the dA logo should still be part of the design, but I'm not sure how that would work.
Nevertheless, this gives the basic idea behind my suggestion.

THIS IS NOT AN ACTUAL FEATURE (yet)!!
No, you do not need a Premium Membership to access it, otherwise it would be under Premium Membership, not Identity.
Custom watermarking does not exist on dA right now, that's why i made this. It's a suggestion, as stated at the top of the image, for a feature for dA to consider.

I hope DA really looks into this idea. I would love to have my own customized watermark instead of that HUGE ugly one that DA gives us...uh...no offence DA...hehe

I hope they do, but dA seems to have tunnel-vision lately, they only want to make the site more "modern" rather than focusing on changes like this that are actually ART-based. :/

I would like to have my own watermark on my deviations
but since I mainly use dA for storage, I want the original image to watermark free
(that is having the option of turning the watermark on and off instead of having to upload a new file)
I hope this eventually becomes a feature on dA, for premium members preferably

Great idea and I agree for the most part. But most people who use custom watermarks and place them on themselves already have the address on it. How would this serve for them?

I don't really like watermarks at all, they kind of distract me from the actual picture. I'd much rather people put their sigs in hidden places that they can point out if they feel that their art has been stolen.

though, a good art thief could find a way to get rid of the signature, whereas a watermark that distorts the image partly is MUCH harder to remove.
I just feel that the on-site watermark system should be customizable since many people don't like having a big dA logo rather than their own.

it boggles my mind; at the top of the image it says "idea proposal" and I even updated my description saying it's a SUGGESTION, and still people think it's an actual feature.
