Just a dragon basking in the sunlight while on a tropical island...I worked on this project on and off for a while, broken up by exams and other issues. I'm still not quite satisfied with the clouds or the tree, and I've never been good at drawing ripples in water.
This is the first time I've tried to render a metallic dragon. And yes, she does look kind of shiny. Kind of. It doesn't exactly look like a platinum finish, more of a squeaky-clean soap-like shininess.

I can't believe I'm the only one commenting on this lovely little piece here. To be honest, the water and clouds look fine. It's the tree that bugs me. Well who's looking at the tree when theres a cute dragon right there.

I see what you mean when you say the tree bugs you. I don't like how it looks either. I was just too lazy to add textures and tune up the roots of the tree.
