I find it very sad. You know, from where i stand, here's what i see : the first four kids are moving on, ready to fight, to live, and the last two, the mother and the little kid are still mourning for the father. The kid is ready to move on, but, you know, the mother still looks a bit sad

All of the kids are siblings, I think, but yeah, the one at the end died right when his sister was born, which is very sad.
