This is a late reply, but I have to say: ArtyxHolly is canon in my mind. Really, you have to make up your own ArtyxMinerva things, but ArtyxHolly comes naturally.

I think he should write until either he dies, or Holly or Artemis die. They were never supposed to have normal lives, and if Colfer stops writing, it means he stops biographing the exiting parts of their lives, which means there's nothing else exiting to write about.

Exactly xD He said in a video once that he kinda went out of control when he started writing. It was only supposed to be three books with a central theme: Bad to Good. And people started wondering when he was going to make another book, and blah blah blah, and he had to write more.

the world would have been a lesser place if he kept to his plans on that one. -_- i'm glad he got rid of the opal koboi plot, though - it would have gotten irritating for even us as the fanbase to recycle plot devices. mayhap he should start making actuals plans to end the series that he can stick to?

tac didn't end too well. now if he made the next book kickass enough that they "go out with a bang" and cleared up all the loose ends, then we might actually be happy with ending the series.

on the upside, even if he loses thirty percent of his fanbase, the other seventy percent will make up for it by buying everything up (and probably all his other books, too).
