Yeah! I love starting comments off with a little text related to the story (lyrics for mah demon band!) : D So there's NEPHILIM, my demon band from Revolt Against GOD. The name of the band has a meaning of course, but I'm not saying
For those of you who don't forgot or just plain don't know who they are, Nephilim was formed by a band of demons who came onto the world of humans when the gates to Hell were unsealed. Contrary to others of their race, their main intention was to live a life of peace and freedom devoid of any unfair laws and obligations streaming from the Heavenly rulers (of course, that'll never work).From left to right: Syuu (male, Saikuro's younger brother, bassist; he's special I tell you!), Gen (male, drummer), Saikuro (female, lead vocals, otherwise known as 'Sai'), Nade (male, guitarist).
EDIT: Oh yeah, notice the glowing red eyes : D (Ok, so they don't glow that much...)

I don't even remember when I started this, but it's been a long while since this has been in the works. If I'm not mistaken about 3-4 months (and unlike the Azrael pic, I didn't slack off for months in between). This was the second PS CS2 experiment pic; I'm still confused.
Nothing else to say really, other than it came out better than the preview!!! In my opinion anyway : D

Amazing work, it looks like it belongs in an anime, beautiful! I love the colours you've used and how you've used them and I just adore the girl's face. The only thing is that her nails look a bit flat, like they could use some shine or something.

Pretty nice and big picture, I almost missed the second half of it XP;;
I noticed that there is a dim overlay spiral effect on the inage, particularly on the suits only (Well grey parts. I'm sure it was intended and it works

Actually, the weird spiral thing was unintended. I think it appeared after I leveled the image slightly. I couldn't quite get it out, so I left it there. I'm so lazy :0 (You were wrong! Hehe..) But hey, if it works, it works!

The glowing red eyes are very pretty and fit very well to the dark colors they wear.

I don't find Syuu to be too manly, but that doesn't really matter. (I actually thought they were all female at first! Heh.)
Even if I don't think the red really matches the colour scheme you chose, it still adds a mood to the piece. Their expression are so haunting. I could look at them all day, they're just hypnotising.
Wow, there are so many little details you can miss if you look at it too quickly. The scars (are they scars?) on the face, the jewelry, Saikuro's ruffled outfit...this is just superb.

awesome work. Depth of the color is magnificent. Blend of the reds are brilliant , they are fluent. Darkness of your art speak volumes.

Wow, they look creepy. I love the thick black outline you gave their eyes. Also the red-haired one's outfit, so pretty.

I envy your working spirit.
The eyes do seem to glow but you can bump it up a notch by using stronger shadows for the skin tone. One thing that I caught was dull yellow highlights in their eyes which seemes unnatural, though it's barely noticeable. I like the copious amount of effort you put into the girl, she has a really disctinctive look.
An anatomical gripe is that Syuu and Gen have aneroxically thin bodies for their heads, I know how you like to draw slim figures but putting a few extra milimetres in their width can make a difference and still maintain a slim figure.
Lastly, the overall tone is quite dull. You can notice this if you converted it into grayscale. While still keeping the gloomy ambient I think you can put some small amounts of brighter tones in the hair highlights or in the peaks of their clothing's folds. I also noticed that one side of Saikuro's (I thought that's a male name?) clothing is more contrasty than the other.

I wasn't trying to make the eyes glow, so they were more of a delightful side effect of whatever I did (yes, I should probably keep track of my progress, but yeah...). The yellow highlights were in the original file (without the effects); the area wasn't as dark as this version, therefore it looked more appropriate. I left it there cuz I forgot about it, but hey, it's funky X'D so it's staying!
I realized that they were too thin, but it doesn't bother me as much as it bothers you (you probably noticed since you've been critiquing me about that for quite a while

Nice art, well coloured and everything. They eyes almost do glow but glowing is not get I've mangaed to pull off get either (thou *messa seems to do a pretty good job of it.)

This looks like the cover to a DVD of the anime. Very stylish, yet emotional, and also protrays the personality of each character in body language, clothing, and hair style. They are similar, and yet quite different. The 3-4 months solid work on this really shows. I especially like how the neon red of their eyes stands out, even against the largely red theme of the pic. I do wish I could see the color without the red overlay, but I do understand you had a particular look you were going for here. Excellent work.

I actually clicked this solely because of the title. I've always been fascinated by the tales of nephilim and their links to earth and a race of giants.
now onto the picture, I think the colors that you use in this , not just in the characters themselves but also the background and shading, are excellent, they make you focus on the subjects and there aren't any distractions. and btw, I'm loving the eyes, they definately look like they are lit from within.
