Description
Although generally a tropical family, the maned stork of Pakardia and the southern islands provides similar services as their fellow Ungulaconids to the habitats of the temperate regions. These animals tend to live in much smaller groups and usually hunt alone. They are far less comfortable around people, but will still linger near settlements to snatch a free meal.
