Description
The banshee gull is a formidable predator, notorious for their harrowing scream which sailors say can cause temporary paralysis. They are master beachcombers, supporting their great size on a diet of whatever the sea gives them on a given day. Fanning out to maximize spotting potential meals, they are fast enough to arrive quickly and large enough to dominate most resident competition. They can support fairly large groups, especially when they call in reinforcements for large prizes. While there are plenty of recorded man-eaters, these are usually opportunistic rather than the more preferential and focused man-eaters of the titan crows, their larger cousin.
