I'm not totally happy with this, but it already took way longer than I wanted it to. It took so long that I forgot what else I was going to say about it. :/

I know you said no weapons, but I feel that her knife is justifiable since it's used as a tool rather than a weapon. I can remove it if necessary, but I'd really like to keep it.

Personality: Tends to be distrustful of others at first. However, this cold appearance is mostly just for show. Shows herself to be thoughtful and generous after her initial suspicion is gone. She is always calm during stressful situations, but her more impulsive side shows when she's around friends. She is very intelligent despite growing up on the streets and often makes witty comments. Even in battle she enjoys using words to toy with her enemies and is quite the strategist.
Backstory: Eris was orphaned at a very young age and doesn't remember her parents. She survived by turning to thievery until she was infected while looting a lab. She quickly became friends with the parasite, and started mercenary work under the name Zephyr. She agreed to join the Harmony after they hired her for a mission.
Notes: Carries a small bone survival knife for tasks like cooking, making a fire, and picking locks. Only used as a weapon if forced to fight in human form.

Origin: Part of an experiment to test whether DNA extracted from fossils could be used to recreate extinct animals. The original primitive bird DNA had degraded over time and was repaired using DNA from various modern birds. The parasite virus was introduced into the lab where she was being kept by accident.
The Infection: Eris accidentally released the parasite when searching a lab for valuables and supplies.
Personality: Very friendly and curious. Has a sharp sense of humor and is somewhat mischievous.
Notes: Has primitive features (clawed wings and toothed beak). Eyes can see well into the ultraviolet and infrared spectrums as well as visible light.
