For the longest time, I thought Vex was an Altmer - the sharp features the game renders her with had me thoroughly confused. It wasn't until I read the wiki that I learned she's an Imperial.

You know what i usually do in the thieves guild? I use kyne's peace, because it makes everything that's not nailed down fly and doesn't hurt anyone.

I've heard much the same said of the Dark Brotherhood, but at least most of them have the disadvantage of - SPOILERZ!!!! - gettings the ax through the storyline. Theives Guild, same problem, but with less excuses.

I wonder... in the Italian version Vex has such a cutesy voice... does she have a similar one in the original version? (Because this Vex looks just that cute.

NPCs with unique voices seem to be hard to turn into followers or marriage candidates, with their lack of appropiate lines, so it involves more work than just adding them to a faction, it seems. It even happens to NPCs with generic voices, if said voice types lack the lines. A shame, really, the only faction with a feasible number of followers are the Companions (with both "recruit" and "leader" type members being possible followers).
By the way, to become Guildmaster, you have to complete 4 special jobs (one in each major city apart of Riften). Getting them can get tedious unless you accept then reject jobs from Vex and Delvin like mad until you get the one you want (you have to complete 5 of their jobs per city to get the special one). The Guildmaster armor is worth it tho.

i tried to make a mod to make her marriageable, but all my efforts were in vain, no matter how many times I tried . . . wouldn't be the first time I failed at making someone affiliated with the thieves guild marriageable . . .

Aww, thanks for trying anyway. I guess it adds some difficulty that she's a quest giver and all that - but nevertheless, there now is a mod that should make both Vex and Brynjolf available as followers. I haven't tested it yet since I should finish the Thieves Guild questline before I can ask her to follow, but I do have high hopes about this one...

I'm actually kinda curious on how old vex is. I would say she looks like shes in her late 20s but the hair throws me off.

Yeah, that's what I estimated too. I've actually seen couple other relatively young characters in the game with white hair like that. I don't know whether it's supposed to represent really light blonde hair or something - personally it always makes me think of Geralt from Witcher games...

Doesn't becoming a Nightingale automatically make you the Guild Headmaster?

Well, when you become a Nightingale you will be asked to take the position as a new Guild Master. However, after that you still need to defeat Mercer and return the Skeleton Key back to Twilight Sepulcher before the actual promoting seremony can take place - or so I've understood, at least.
